We prioritize the preaching of God's Word when we gather. We want to hear what the Lord says to His church from the Scriptures. 

 

Our pastor and other speakers emphasize expository preaching, and we believe Biblical preaching should teach and apply the main point of a scriptural text to the lives of the hearers.

In some gatherings, the teaching may be more topical or centered around a theme, but even then we want to hear God's Word, not man's opinions.

We offer nursery for infants and toddlers. Children's church is also provided for little ones during the sermon portion of our service so that they can learn and hear the Bible in a format suitable for little hearts and ears.

Many parents choose to keep their children with them throughout the service, and we welcome them to be among us!

We take the protection of children very seriously. No workers are allowed to be with children unless they have passed a background check and are thoroughly known to the church, in keeping with our Child Protection Policy. 

We think it is important to sing songs based on Scripture so that our worship will be pleasing to the Lord, whether the song was written 500 years ago or last week.

We primarily sing hymns that the church has sung for generations, and new songs that reflect the truths of Scripture.

 

Most of our singing is set to piano and organ, though we may use other instruments, too. We love to hear each other sing, so come add your voice to ours and lift it up!

We are a simple people. Wear what makes you comfortable to present yourself to the Lord and before others. There is no expectation that visitors or members "dress up," or try to impress anyone.

 

When we gather for worship, we're coming together as God's people to enter his presence and adore Him.
